"Absolutely amazing cabin in the most incredible setting possible! Super helpful and friendly staff as well, and just the most comfortable cabin you could imagine. We'll be staying here again for sure and also having our family stay when they come to visit us in Southern VT. "
"Loved the view and accommodations including sauna & hot tub : can’t wait to come back!
Really appreciated the flexibility in check-in & check-out for a weekend of hiking up through Chesterfield then over to Greylock the next day."
"Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good soap, two bars. Towels were fine. Bathtub needs a mat or strips on the bottom of the tub— slippery and dangerous! There was a small group of friends with about 6 small children who were screaming and running amok in the breakfast room while their parents provoked them to even greater extremes of misbehavior. The hotel staff couldn’t have been unaware of what was going on, since the children’s screams could have been heard in Boston, yet nothing was done. Are the other guests expected to police the hotel and reprimand inconsiderate parents?"
"We were welcomed warmly by Steve and Joan, plus their pup Lucy. It’s a very old structure with all the charm and intricacies those bring, but we found it rustic, historical and full of old world charm. The breakfast was exceptional, fruit cup, mango scones, and baked egg and zucchini. A lot of thought and care went into that breakfast, it was not a quick and easy meal to check the breakfast box. We will think of Centennial House first when planning future visits to Western Massachusetts. "
