"Super clean, reminded you of stay from years gone by. Attractions were closed for the season. Understandable but would be nice if a few more things were open at least for short hours during off season especially spring and fall as the lake was certainly warmer than the ocean and more suitable for younger swimmers. But overall a great experience for a get away with the kiddo. Local restaurants we tried were all tasty. Definitely recommend."

"This is a rustic cabin surrounded by nature. It's actually two little cabins with the bedroom and bathroom in one and the kitchen, loft and a tiny living room in one. We stopped here for one night on our way to somewhere else. This is the kind of place you want to come and stay longer (fish, kayak or just enjoy nature). The checkin was very easy, the host responded promptly to all my questions. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, the ac in the bedroom is noisy. Also if you plan to stay longer and cook, you'll need more pots. There's just a couple Teflon pots but those were scratched and are not healthy to use because they release the forever chemicals in the food."

"While the property is clean and sound construction, the older portion has a bit of an "Alice in Wonderland" feel to it in that the floors have settled a great deal. There are no tripping hazards, but it might bother someone with vertigo. It was definitely unique though. It housed 3 adults and 4 young teenagers quite well."

"We loved our staff the best place we have stayed at White Lake. We have been coming for years. The house was so spacious five bedrooms was great never had that much room before. The best was three bathrooms no one having to wait to go. Tonya has everything you could need. Because of my past stay with others I over packed. She had towels linens. There was even a crock pot. Tonya has really thought of everything. This was my grand daughters first trip and she loved it she called it the lake house. Hope to come back soon."

"This is the second time we have been to white lake in this exact listing. Chris is great to work with and the place is so clean and comfortable! My family really enjoys a week that is quiet and relaxing on the lake (minus our boat day of tubing and racing around) For those looking for entertainment and restaurants and excitement, this is not the place. While there are plenty of things to do, this is a small community. Small places to eat and small shops, but huge heart and plenty of love. Beaches and busy life are an easy drive away. Lake life is our life! Wish we could join in and become a local! Maybe someday!"
