We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The city centre train station was just a short walk away as well. Thank you to our host for the awesome check-in and also for the lift to the "other" train station for our trip back into London. "Room is clean, good space, big parking lot but full of cars. Good sound proofing, almost hardly hear anything from the plane noise. However neighbours were very noisy, at 4.30am, sounds like there was a party starting, loud music and talks, screaming. Unsure due to the thin walls or this family particularly wanted everyone to know they were up and ready to celebrate."

"Stayed in a twin room, good sized beds which were comfortable with a choice of pillows. Hotel was clean and there was a good choice at breakfast. Wasn’t keen on the parking payment machine being outside the entrance. It took a few minutes to use and you can get quite chilly in the process. It would be much better if it was in the lobby."

The room description said there would be bathrobes and slippers (we were in a suite), but there weren't any. The sink in the ensuite bathroom was a bit tired. Generally, the bathroom could do with a light refresh. Friendly staff on check-in."

"Amazing stay!!! It would be nicer to check out one hour later. Our room was clean and it had the necessary amenities. The breakfast was free and very nice and parking was free too. The only issue was outside noise from the busy road due to petrol station, M&S and Tobi Carvery. Although, I really recommend it specially for couples."
