"On a very quiet small lake, but plenty of things to do. Kayaks, paddleboard, float pad, and hot tub were a big hit. Plenty of games and activities in the house too for rainy days. Greg was great at communicating everything about the house and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!"

Home is conveniently close to most highways & the center of town. The spacious rooms have mix of period & contemporary furniture, adding to the charm. Had great outdoor deck & river view was certainly a big plus! A few deck chairs would have made that even better! The kitchen had all necessary items for nice stay, loved...

"Although the stream was devastated by the Vermont floods, it was still enjoyable to relax and watch pass by. Several opportunities to explore the area for fishing and hiking. Host was very accommodating and attentive. The wood burning stove made some of best vacation breakfasts ever. Great vacation!"

"Location was awesome, house met the description and was comfortable. Stayed with dog and 3 kids. Doors (or walls?) were a little drafty in the winter, but heating seemed to be ok. Heated floors in bathrooms were really nice. Suggest more than 2 dishwasher tabs per renter. Basement is quite cold but we didn't need to use it for sleeping. Still, 5 stars, great property and would stay again."

Other than these two things, we loved the place and would recommend it, specially because it is very close to Okemo Ski resort."

"We stayed at the Dark Horse Cottage for the June Horse Trials at GMHA! The spot was minuets away easy in and out, cozy good internet we used the grill and enjoyed the sitting area outside. Perfect for Mom, Dad and 1-2 kids. Will definitely stay again!"
