"Loved this property! Check in is unique but there are very clear instructions and free parking just down the street. The restaurant is great and we sat out by the water outside. Great smoked salmon and egg breakfast. Also ate at the Old Boathouse down by the water which was great! Fort Augustus is a cute little town with little shops and restaurants. Saw the locks in action the morning that we left as well which was very cool to witness! Would stay here again for sure. "

"The room was very plain. But the people are so friendly! It is close to the town of Drumnadrochit. You are able to walk into town. There is a café on site. There are also 2 gift shops and a visitor Loch Ness Monster attraction. "

"The staff is so accommodating. The first day we arrived the front desk arranged for a taxi for the next morning.We had an early morning excursion. Second they arranged for a continental breakfast for us before the restaurant was opened so we could have a bite to eat. Then we phoned them and said we would be late returning after a lite fair is served. And they had a little snack available. They are very friendly and answered any questions we had. The property is right on the loch and very Scottish. We loved the hotel and would return."
