Cute cabin in the woods, perfectly Montana. Great location! Felt like being in the middle of the woods with a beautiful setting, deer, turkeys and peacefully quiet, but yet only a few minutes from town. Lovely hosts, lovely stay.

Our first trip to this area to see our daughter run a 50K. This property gave us a secluded place to rest and enjoy family yet was 10 minutes from Whitefish for the racing event. Perfect for our pups. Would stay here again with more time to enjoy the property!

We loved the location of this cabin! Our dogs especially loved the yard. The only complaints we had were the different floor levels throughout the cabin and lack of lighting.

We are from Almost Heaven West Virginia, it’s Almost because that area of Montana has to be Heaven. Absolutely beautiful and cozy house, very comfortable and everything was as stated in description. It is quiet and private and peaceful just a few minutes from restaurants and shops. 100% will return!

Just as described, secluded cabin in the woods. So peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bonus - we were allowed to bring our fur-family! Cabin is quaint and a bit quirky but that is its charm. Well stocked and comfortable. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise.

My wife and i loved this Cabin/house.
Very secluded, clean and Dan is an excellent host. winter had just started when we arrived and Dan took the time to build us a fire in the fireplace, all i had to do was light it. We will be back, maybe in the summer this time.

From the moment I made the booking the entire process was extremely easy and Dan was super helpful! The property itself was breathtaking and absolutely perfect for our menagerie of 4 dogs. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed and was extremely cozy. They even took the time to prep a fire in the fireplace so all we had to do was start it! The proximity to Whitefish proper was also a plus. We have been talking about our stay since we left and look forward to coming back! 😊

I was traveling with dogs and only was able to stay here a couple of nights but it was exactly what I needed, and what I was looking for- a nice peaceful and beautiful setting. No visible neighbors, huge yard for the dogs to romp around in, and perfect patio to kick your feet up and read a book or watch wildlife. They had some interesting historical books in their library and a TV set up for apps for those that must. I had some work to do unfortunately so the wifi came in handy. Owner communication was friendly and quick. Great spot for the canines too. We will be back!

Nice location, however the property needs just a little TLC. All but one of the four bulbs over the bathroom vanity were burnt out, leather sofa was worn out, (you sink way down when you sit on it) cushions were worn out, dishwasher was flashing an error code and wasn’t usable but out biggest concern was none of the doors had deadbolts, leaving us with a feeling of insecurity at night.
On the positive side. Owner was very helpful in extending our stay by an additional night.

Cabin satisfied our needs - kitchen was well stocked although the coffee pot is hilariously small - thankfully we brought our own. Kitchen knives are better than mine! Cabin is on ten quiet private acres which is super if you are hanging out there - we did not. The cabin is definitely older, decor is dated and haphazard (weird parrot picture in bedroom). Curtains didn’t cover the window. LR couch is so old we used pillows to sit on to fill in the sagging seats. Stairs to upper BR are steep and railing is decorative only - wobbly and useless in the event of a fall - a real safety hazard for kids and older adults. Fireplace is nice but in a strange place.

Overall a wonderful property! The weather was great and we fully enjoyed sitting outside each day and taking in the amazing forest scenery. The cabin was quite cute as well and clean. Also, the place is quite close to downtown whitefish too for being out in the woods. I would stay again!

My husband and I and two dogs were traveling from Wisconsin to Glacier National Park and found the cabin on VRBO. When we pulled into the driveway we knew it was going to be amazing, we let the dogs out and they were in heaven running here and there. The cabin is very nice, lots of room for everyone! We didn’t even use the loft area with the extra bedroom, the main level was all we needed. The patio was perfect for nighttime with lights and a wonderful table and chairs set with umbrella. They had it all set up for playing volleyball, golf disc game, and had racks of games you could use to play in the expansive yard. We grilled outside on the gas grill, and watched the white tail deer walk by the cabin morning and night. The inside of the cabin is all set with everything you could need on vacation. It was truly a wonderful time, it made it better that Ruger and Tia ( our dogs) could be with us. Many memories were made on this vacation because of this great cabin and land.

Loved our stay at this cabin. Beautiful location, lots of privacy. The host pre- built a fire for us the day we arrived and was very responsive all throughout if we had questions. If you’re staying there in winter get a 4WD/AWD vehicle as road up to the cabin gets very slippery.
