The host was very communicative and available. The house was well stocked for a smooth arrival and departure. Access to the slopes was very easy, ski in/ski out if there is snow on the road, if not it’s only a couple steps to the Home Again run.
Great ski house. The property is properly ski in/ski out with the access trail a few short steps away. The view from the living room and master are incredible. This is a special place.
Perfect property to enjoy a family Christmas and have a property with front door ski out availability. Plenty of room, great kitchen for group food prep. The host - Derek was very responsive for all needs and questions. Everything 5 stars.
This property is even nicer than the photos suggest. Very intelligently designed with lots of thoughtful details very comfortable living room and spacious kitchen with plenty of room for multiple people to be making meals at once proximity to the ski lifts and ski and ski out is a huge plus my family and I had a spectacular time here. Thanks as well to Derek our host.I highly recommend this property. You will have a great time.
We had a wonderful stay in Whitefish. Our house was very large and comfortable and our host, Derek, was so gracious. He welcomed us when we first arrived and made sure the house was well stocked.
Although the ski access was across the street, it was an easy walk to the run.
We would definitely stay in one of the homes hosted by Derek.
Aloha and Mahalo!
We booked this place having never been to Whitefish before, and it wasn’t until we left that we realized how great a deal we really got with this place! You can’t possibly do better for this price point — it’s a few steps to the Home Again run, which has easy access off of chair 2 or chair 3. A true ski-in/ski-out experience. Derek communicated very well, shoes excellent service while we were at the property, and really went out of his way to help us have a great experience. The view is amazing, the access is easy, and the only reason I’d say not to go with this property is so I can get it first next time!Few notes: we comfortably fit 8 adults and 3 kids, the hot tub can fit 7 or 8 comfortably, and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and then some from a spice and cooking utensil standpoint.
Nice. Easy access to Whitefish. 45-minute drive to the West Glacier entrance. We enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for everyone. I would recommend a notebook for the property which would include information on the fireplace, location of the community trash compactor, and maps of the area. The management did email these details, but our group wished that a notebook would have been available to read.
Another recommendation would be a window shade for the living room area; the sun was blinding in the am while trying to cook breakfast and adding additional towel racks for the bathrooms; also, the master bedroom needs more functional nightstands to accommodate a CPA machine and hold a water glass. The other second floor bedroom needs reading lamps at the bedside.
We did appreciate the internet option and quick responses from the management team. Dereck stopped by and provided our group with some very helpful places to visit in Whitefish and while visiting the park. The hot tub was delightful and a nightly visit. We even saw a bear on our last night while sitting on the deck. Plenty of parking and a roomy garage. Definitely a place for friends to gather.
The house was beautiful, great location, the Base Lodge had lots of activities.
Derek was awesome, gave us lots of information on the area and checked in with us to see if we needed anything
For our first time to Whitefish in late May, this Mountain Home did not disappoint. The property was extremely clean, the views of the mountain and valley below were breathtaking and impressive and the location (dead end no traffic street) was awesome!
The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. I would recommend this property to anyone and we plan on staying here next winter during the ski season. The direct private ski access is literally right out the front door!
