"Great hotel if you’re planning a visit to the Lake District. Amazing staff, good rooms and great restaurant - the buffet breakfast is really good value too. There are loads of walks nearby, including into Keswick and Cat Bells. The hotel is located a little bit out of the centre of Keswick so you can escape the crowds and enjoy some peace by the lake."

"The room was larger than I expected and the facilities in the room were excellent. The bathroom is large and airy with a double shower. The towels were changed every day and the room cleaned thoroughly every day. Unfortunately the mattress was not great, too soft and lumpy. The breakfast is excellent but the sausages need to be browned off more. The staff are excellent. Parking is available free and a voucher obtained from reception. All in all a great stay 4/5* We wouldn't hesitate to book again."
