In fact you won’t go short of places to eat and drink on holiday with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Whitehaven harbour is home to the Beacon Museum with its interactive displays, or you can tour the Rum Story attraction and find out all about the history of The Jefferson family from the original 1785 shop. The town also has an indoor swimming pool, gym, sports centre and golf course if you’re felling energetic.
