We spent a lot of time visiting the winery’s in the area….Ott is especially nice. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for later in the year."

"This was honestly the best VRBO we have ever had. The place was cleaner than any other we've been in, very well appointed, and nice in literally every way. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was fantastic, and the view from the porch was awesome. We saw tons of wildlife and our favorite thing quickly became having our morning coffee and waiting to see what animals passed by. I cant say enough good about this place. The host was a great communicator and very pleasant to deal with."

"We made a short trip to the mountains and loved our stay in Walnut Mountain. Sunday morning as we were getting ready to leave we were treated to a mother bear and her cub walking the game trail at the back of the property. The home is clean, comfortable and in a great location to enjoy Ellijay and the surrounding mountain towns. Thanks!"

"You NEED an SUV!! The cabin itself was very cute! We were not aware that our car would struggle to get over the railroad tracks and up and down the mountain. The road is narrow with lots of potholes and the turn to get onto the road where the cabin is located is steep. We needed to go up and down the mountain several times a day and it was not pleasant and took quite a toll on our car. The cabin was very cute! The property owner called us the first night to check and see if we needed anything...

"This was our second stay at Mountaintown Creek Escape and just as wonderful as the first time. Such a gorgeous property. The home had everything that we needed and is so comfortable. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners at home and the kitchen is well equipped. The balcony over the river is the perfect place for coffee and cocktails. We definitely spent most of our time out there. Contact with the host was easy and prompt. We love this vacation home and plan to return yearly!"

"My wife and 2 boys stayed here for a few days, and really relaxed. The property is very private ( unless the house next door is rented) which was not. The creek is wonderful, my 2 boys splashed and played in the creek for hours. The house was very clean, a little pollen dust outside on all the porches, but thats to be expected this time of year, we have the same where we are in Florida. The cabin has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, bed linens, comfortable furniture, Wifi, hot tub,...

"Overall was very good and nice property as advertised We felt a few items could have been better No condiments salt pepper and aluminum foil or food storage biggies Biggest opportunity was code to open door We got the wrong code and it delayed us in getting settled in on the first night.
