"Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. "Very friendly staff at check in who upgraded us but unfortunately this meant that when we checked out they couldn’t find us on the system so check out was delayed. Lovely room, comfy bed. Shame food isn’t served at weekends "
