"Room had a good outlook. Was in good condition, bed very comfortable. Shower flooded the bathroom a bit. Smokers outside bathroom window was the only downside you couldnt leave the backdoor or bathroom window open."

Nov 28, 2019We took the very quick ferry ride across the harbor to Flaxmill Bay ($7 return trip) and did a couple of hikes over there, which were enjoyable. There is not much of a town at Flaxmill or Cooks Beach Township. Whitianga seemed like a nice town,
