Room, as rest of hotel, was spotless. The windows were rather old and hard to open ( to air the bathroom, after a shower), but the building is relatively old. The private parking was expensive, but only a short walk from the hotel and we knew the car was safe and secure. All in all, a wonderful stay at The Gainsborough, will definitely return; was a wonderful experience. "

"The hotel its self is set on the banks of the river, access to the car park is very narrow and the car park it self is very tight when a number of vehicles are parked. Hotel Staff - very friendly. Rooms - very vlean, tidy and comfortable. Food - evening meal: good selection on the menu"
