"Fabulous 4 night trip to Hayman. Just the most beautiful scenery and grounds and a very friendly staff. We enjoyed the excursions snorkeling and seeing Whitehaven Beach. We initially had a lagoon room which we didn’t love so we upgraded to a second floor room overlooking the pool. They were very accommodating. Used the gym and ate at all the restaurants. We also enjoyed the great acoustic guitar player each night. "

"This was our second stay at the Palm Bungalows and again we had an excellent time. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, with a nice private terrace. The bungalows are very close to the beach and all water sports. Only a 10 minute walk from the marina. Some excellent restaurants and bars on site. "

"While it wasn’t anything flash it did the job. Amenities were nice, staff were really friendly and helpful. For us the location was ideal, close to town and close to the port where most of our activities left from. "

"Would stay here again. Located at the beginning of the boardwalk into the heart of Airlie, supermarket within walking distance too. Kids loved the pool, we enjoyed having meals served poolside and the buffet breakfast had a lot on offer. Was excellent for gluten free too. Staff were lovely and added to the positive vibe around the place. Definitely recommend."

"Really terrible! I could ignore the previous guests towels hanging up drying on the porch, the shower not cleaned, but I couldn’t ignore that the bed had bedbugs!!! For the price of the room, I would expect a minimum of a clean bed, I could feel them crawling and biting me all night. I spoke with a staff member the next morning and they said they would investigate and call me back…of course no return call. I guess the next guest will have the same problem! "Staff were nice but did not know where entrance to rooms were. Parking was very poor, you could park in the street or next to the drive through bottle shop. It was noisy but you expect that being a hotel. The TV in the room did not work which was disappointing as it would have helped with relaxing and noise from down stairs. The long life milk in the fridge was ready to explode it was 3 months out of date. Fridge could have used a clean. On the whole not a place I would stay again. "
