"What place to kick back and enjoy the sound of the river wisking by and the crackiling of the great fireplace. We had a group of nine (over 60 in age each) that has gone over 30+ yrs for once a year long weekend trips to Blue Ridge Smokies. This stop was a great place for out group. House was plenty big enough. The owner and property helpers we quick to fix a couple of issues when we arrived. But overall, the old house did us well once we got used to the little qwerks all houses seem to have....

"This little Villa is such a gem. We stayed one entire week here and didn’t want to come back home. The villa was so comfortable and the views are the best you’re gonna get. We will definitely return here again. A few things we did to make our stay a little more comfortable. We bought a pillow top foam cover for the mattress and two extra pillows. The bed is very firm and we prefer it to be soft. We brought our Roku device and hooked it up to the tv in the living room so we could stream shows in...

"Very clean with everything you need for a relaxing time in the mountains. The property managers, Jerry & Sally Mass, went above & beyond to answer any questions and see that we had everything we needed. "When we arrived we noticed the exterior grounds needed attention. We had to contact the owners about no gas in the fireplace. We found two ticks and a dead cockroach. The ceiling fans were full of dust. The drywall joint tape was peeling from the walls. The ad claimed no pets allowed. We found animal toys in plain sight. This caused me to develop a sight sinus condition. We will never rent from them again. We should be reimbursed partial cost as we left a day early."
