"The rooms on the property are tiny, they look bigger in the pictures! The rooms are dated & dirty. I'm not sure we were actually clean after getting showered. The floor was gritty under foot and there were other people's hair all over the bathroom floor. There were a lot of mixed messages as well. When booking its advised that you can check in from 3 but check in forms we received implied you can't check in before 5. Breakfast was another mix of messages with staff not being clear either....

"Easy parking, great breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff. On site restaurant with good menu options, great tasting food. Only downside shower has fixed head would prefer handset option. Great stay will definitely return."

"Excellent stay in this beautiful pub. The heart of England staff were very helpful and polite. The room was warm and clean and had everything you needed, the beds were very comfatable . The hotel was very close to the wedding venue that I was attending, only a three minute drive. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Thank you all for a lovely stay xx."

Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."
