"The place is really nice, great for large family gatherings, great location and nice layout. The communication with the property manager was challenging. From check-in that was clunky and after checkout they waited two weeks to return my deposit saying there was damage but not communicating what was damaged. Ultimately my the deposit was return, because there was no damage. I would encourage folks to take pictures upon leaving to ensure no damage is reported that was not your responsibility."

"Really appreciated the chairs they had outside for guest. It was nice sitting outside in the evening. Room was clean except for a garbage bin that hadn’t been emptied after previous guests but that wasn’t really a problem. Breakfast was lacking a bit as the only eggs were boiled and there was no meat offered. Overall though, we did enjoy our stay and would definitely stay there again."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Best Western in Owen Sound! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. The rooms were spotless, the beds are a tad hard but the blankets were so cozy that I honestly didn't want to get out of bed! The shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water—something I always appreciate after a long day of traveling. The on-site restaurant deserves a **10/10**. As someone with celiac disease, I was so impressed by the variety of delicious gluten-free options available. A special thank you to **Shaina, the Restaurant Manager**, who was absolutely amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free dining, genuinely cares about her guests, and provides outstanding customer service. She made our dining experience stress-free and enjoyable. The hotel is in a beautiful location with lovely views, is easy to find, and is conveniently located close to everything we wanted to see. And finally…don't leave without trying the **homemade ice cream**! It was hands down the best ice cream I've ever had and was the perfect way to end our stay. This hotel truly goes above and beyond in every way. Between the exceptional staff, comfortable accommodations, incredible restaurant, and amazing homemade ice cream, this is a must-stay when visiting Owen Sound. We will definitely be back!"

"Room was clean, staff is always lovely. Had a ground floor room this time, but prefer the balcony on the 2nd floor so will request that next time. Pool and poolside service is lovely, low key and just easy to enjoy. Overall a cute location and space for a little girls weekend."

"It was an amazing experience, property was situated at the lake that made it worthwhile. After long days out one wants to spend time at pool, the timings for pool could have been better it is from 10:30 to 8:30. Summers it can be till 9:30.. just a thought but still I loved the property and we enjoyed our time there"
