"They're in the process of redoing the entire hotel. Two floors done but hotel is not allowing guests to be booked in the newly decorated rooms so we stayed in old one (which is why the low score) There's a very nice park between the hotel and the river but we were too tired to check it out. The road immediately in front of the hotel is gravel because of a dispute between two hotels - hope they settle."

"When we checked in we noticed our fridge wasn't cooling properly, and we felt like our room was warm. We attempted to turn down AC on machine b/c we didn't notice the wall control (and we managed to disrupt the wireless pairing they had done from the wall control to the unit). Despite the manager very obviously being on her way out the door she took the time to come to our room personally to reestablish the AC bluetooth/wifi connection and provided us towels so we could thaw our refrigerator (which started working again after we did). 4 out of 5 for comfort. The bed could be better. Breakfast was good. All staff interacted in a friendly way. Oh, we stayed with a dog and it was a very clean/well kept room."
