Basically the hotel is fine but some of the decor is a bit tired. However everything in the room worked and it was warm and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant which was OK though some of the staff appeared very young and not very experienced.

Recent stay

The Norseman Hotel was well located to the train station, a river walk and city centre. The breakfast was good and the meal service was generally good, though if you’re not with a group, make sure to reserve a table at dinner time.

Have a look at the pic. It says it all. Surely this must violate some health code? The mattrass was disgustingly, filthy. There was a chocolate bar wrapper on the floor. The windows havent been cleaned in ages. How can they get away with this?

Nice hotel in Wick. Booked as part of a longer trip. Booked into the restaurant for Sunday Carvery and food was fabulous especially the all you can eat carvery amd dessert trolley

The staff was really friendly. The only problem is the hot water, which wasn't that hot and the water pressure which was kind of low.

The Norse.man was located perfectly our needs. Friendly helpful staff. We had breakfast buffet each morning, the food was fresh, cooked food was hot. The only slight downside side was the breakfast had to be carried across the corridor to the bar area as on the 2 mornings we were there, conferences were taking place using the dining room and the corridor was full of people waiting for the conference to start. This could have been handled better but as i stated only a small hiccup. Evening meal in bar area really nice, food great.

Mein Zimmer war neben einer Schwenktür, die jedesmal gequietscht hat, wenn jemand durchgegangen ist. Es gingen viele Personen durch. Diese Tür hatte speckigen, alten Schmutz, in Höhe der Türklinke! War also lange nicht mehr gereinigt worden. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber, aber hellhörig. Frühstück war gut.
