"Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. All staff were extremely accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, quality ingredients and plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed the touch of the espresso machine and cake stand during our stay. "

"We were upgraded to a beautiful, clean and spacious room overlooking the front of the Hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - our bags were even taken up to our room for us. Buffet cooked breakfast is delicious and plentiful and the 3 course evening dinner is a nightly treat! The Hotel is ideally situated for walking in the National Park and close to shops, and local transport. All-in-all highly recommended!"

"We went as a foursome to celebrate an anniversary. The staff, as always, are friendly and helpful and the service in the restaurant is efficient and cheerful. We had great rooms with a great view of the fells. The spa is wonderful. I had a fantastic afternoon in the gym and pool then relaxed with a book with occasional trips to the outdoor spa. "Room was very comfortable with everything we needed. An odd thing to say in Feb but the room was too warm. We turned radiators off which helped. I guess its proof of good insulation and the staff catering to all customers."
