"Fantastic accomodation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. Room was comfortable with a good shower. Great to have the shared kitchen and lounge as an extra. Would not hesitate to recommend!"

"Lovely cottage. Totally spotless, very comfortable and well-equipped. Good outdoor seating area if you're lucky enough to have sunny weather! Easy parking. Located in a side street just off the main square of Wigtown, just 2 or 3 minutes' walk from a well-stocked Co-op. Great base for exploring Wigtownshire and the wider region of Dumfries and Galloway. Wigtown itself is lovely to stroll round, with it's many bookshops and a couple of nice cafes. Where it does fall down is an absence of restaurants for an evening meal, so be prepared to drive, or to make use of the nearby fish & chip shop or (as we did) cook your own meal!"

"Very comfortable, cosy and warm cottage. Everything you need is provided. View from the bench at the back is so relaxing. We loved the little beach and we walked along to the Oak Hill cafe and deli. A nice place to refresh with a cuppa and a lovely piece of cake. Great area for exploring lots of places to visit. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is highly recommended. Smoke house is just down the road, lots of goodies there. We loved the cottage and we had a warm welcome from Kate"

"Perfect little getaway in a lovely quiet part of Galloway. Craigielea was very warm, cozy, comfortable and well equipped, with stunning views from the conservatory. Although the cottage is on a main road, there was no traffic noise inside. Owners contacted us just after the arrival time to ensure all was well and that we were settled in. Would certainly recommend this property"
