Curacao Marriott Beach Resort

"The property was beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, and the beach was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast plan was well worth the money, offering good food and great value. We chose to dine off-property for lunch and dinner, which gave us the opportunity to explore other dining options nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the beautiful surroundings and excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable."

"Strange not to have wash clothes in the bathroom and the remotes issued at the front desk but the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a stay and didn’t want to leave. And if you drive a car, be aware that parking is strictly enforced"

"Room was nice and clean. The grounds were well maintained. Always seating available on the beach (October). Staff were great. Pool/beach were clean. Live music certain nights. Buffet breakfast was awesome. Unless you paid by sending each bill to your room credit card at the restaurants on site or at the bars, there wasn’t an opportunity to tip them without specifically asking them to include that. Kind of strange. Don’t forget to tip them! All the plugs in our room in the octagon wing were European (240v). No where to plug “American” two prong plugs or USB plugs into. We inquired at the front desk where to buy the adaptors locally…but they had some at the desk. (Not sure why they didn’t offer us them at check in….my only complaint). They give you two and charge you $10 if you don’t return them at check out. Not a bad idea to buy a couple of cheap additional ones on amazon to bring with you. We were fighting over the two the whole time. We rented a car. You have to wind through a pretty poor residential area surrounding it to get to the hotel. I thought we were going the wrong way driving thru these alleys! Great restaurants within a couple minute walking distance but generally it is in an area that I wouldn’t walk around outside at night to explore. Better to have a car in that regards."

"The property is a hidden gem. Walking distance to Punda and Otrabando. I would suggest room service signs be added to each room. Room service would come at 9 am and basically barge in. Signs would allow guest to determine when they need service or want to be left alone."
