"Room was clean and the staff were very nice. However the hotel was very overbooked (exact words from the front desk) and since we booked through Expedia we were bumped to a smaller room than what we paid for. No reimbursement for the price difference since we booked through a third party. "

During our short stay we were able to shop in Lake Geneva, walk on the Lake Path, see the Yerkes Observatory and sit on the benches at the Williams Bay beach area watching all the activity. There is much to do around this good location."

"It’s modest and dated, but priced right for those attributes. Picture old school motel w cabin like facade. It’s a really nice property w a large yard. Great for traveling w dogs. Homey and apartment like feel w a perfectly adequate kitchen space. The host is very kind and communicates so well. Even happily accommodated my request to grant my parents early access when they beat me there and were arriving earlier than check in time. The location is great. I’d stay here again and recommend to others!"

Nice for a fishing cabin but not nice for a couples retreat. I would never stay there again. I will say the owner is a really good person. "
