We recently stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williams and had a good overall experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. My boys especially enjoyed the pool, which was a nice way for them to burn off some energy after a day of traveling. My only disappointment was the breakfast. The options were very limited, consisting mainly of fruit, cereal and toast. There were no protein choices available, which would have made for a more satisfying meal before heading out for the day. I wish hotel descriptions were more specific about what is actually included in the breakfast, as that would help families plan accordingly. That said, the hotel was clean, the stay was pleasant, and we enjoyed our time there. I would consider staying here again if I was in the area.

No elevators, room was dirty and smelled funny, staff we very unfriendly. Hallway smelled like a dog pooped in it, but my understanding was pets weren't allowed. Breakfast was all carbs. Only fresh fruit was unripe bananas, bruised apples and oranges that were sour. The lady in the dining area was very attentive and helpful. She did a good job stocking the food and keeping the place clean. This was the only positive thing that caught my eye.

This property does not have an elevator, so if you book on the second floor plan to carry your luggage up the stairs. Be aware of that breakfast does not include any protein. As a diabetic this was an issue so I had to eat breakfast out, which increased our trip expenses. The refrigerator does not have a freezer section so plan accordingly. Ice packs will definitely thaw. The staff was very helpful and polite. When we checked in, the desk Clark had to really wrangle to get us a first floor room. Additionally I needed an extension cord because of the way the outlets are in the room. She searched for one. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It felt safe and all doors were properly locked. I had to ask for extra towels because we were there for extended stay and there weren't any at the pool either. You have to ask at the desk. The pool is in door, highly chlorinated. It was a little on the chilly side, the spa was excellent.

Clean rooms, staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. It would be nice if there was decaffeinated coffee choice. Plain oatmeal would be nice for those that don't want all the sugar in the brown sugar and Maple oatmeal offered. The pillows were very hard to me. Some may like a hard pillow. The refrigerator in the room was very noisy when it turned on the compressor. Overall it was nice to stay for an overnight on the way from Colorado to California.

This was a great room! The check in was easy, the staff was excellent, the parking was sufficient and the breakfast was good. I will certainly stay there again. My only complaint (yes, there is always one) is that the toilet paper had only one sheet left on the roll...a fresh roll would have been appropriate in this case.
