"I visited for a short weekend stay with my family for a concert. Congress Plaza was accommodating and easy to check in! It’s a vintage hotel that is very well kept in a perfect location directly across from grant park! If you can appreciate a classic hotel you will love this place! We stayed in the two bedroom family suite and it was pretty big with three huge closets and refrigerators in both rooms. Transportation is easily accessible at the front door for pick up and drop off. There are plenty dining options in walking distance. I recommend The Grant down the street for dinner :) Security is at each entry at night so rest assured I felt safe. Great stay! Will visit again"

"Prime location of the hotel immediately by the River Walk in the Chicago Loop. Walking distance on Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park, Grant Park, Chicago Theater, retail and restaurants. Service at the front desk was good, especially by Daisy. The Plum Restaurant inside the hotel was superb. Great food, drinks and service."

"The hotel room was lovely and very clean. We had a great view of Lake Michigan and the Centennial Ferris wheel. My only complaint is that I should have asked for more pillows. The pillows are not firm and very soft, but they went flat all night. As a side sleeper, I needed about three of them. I liked the Daviness shampoo and conditioner, and the shower was nice. A clean bathroom is essential to me. We were a short walk from tons of stuff to do, and we walked to the Chicago Institute of Art easily. Safe area, friendly staff. "

"I enjoyed not paying resort fees, having only an overnight trip to see the French government. Breakfast include was a major plus. Will come back next time "

"The hotel is beautiful and full of history . We thouroughly enjoyed leaning all about it. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Its a really busy place with many events going on but everyone was kind, patient, and seemed to enjoy doing what they do. We dud havd a smaller room than i was hoping for and the bathroom was very small and could have used some updating, but all in all we really enjoyed it and would definately stay again!"
