"A quaint hotel with a lobby that had a beautiful view of Mirror Lake with large floor to ceiling windows. It was within walking distance to Lake Placid. The staff was friendly and helpful when we presented a small issue with our shower, they sent some one to repair it right away. Breakfast was a plus with various hot and cold options. There were snacks available during the day in the lobby, with coffee and fresh cold drinks all day. There were board games, cards, etc… for couples or families to enjoy in the lobby as well as plenty of outdoor seating to see the lake up close. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping took care of our linens daily. We will definitely visit again. "

"We would definitely come back. One problem not enough chairs by the lake and people take out the water boats canoes and paddle boats for an extremely long time. We didn’t get a chance to use them. "
