Wilmington has great history and hospitality. The USS North Carolina is a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk among history and worth the visit itself. The downtown area was walkable and had many restaurant options and a few quality breweries.

We love visiting Downtown Wilmington because of all the options for dining and that we can walk everywhere. I always feel safe visiting - there are always officers patrolling, it is very well lit. We always have a great time.

Wonderful place to vacation and to live. Only drawbacks were downtown parking and the traffic
"The only problem was the elevators and hallways were always HOT, walking in through the lobby was fine then into the elevator you go. Sweating up to floor 4 the hallways didn’t bring any relief, we kept our room super cold to bring us to a comfortable temperature. "
