Renovated log home. Private setting close to skiing, National Parks and Jackson

Experience the West at its best in beautiful Jackson Hole, WY! We would love to host you in our home for your trip.

Beautifully furnished, this charming, log home is perfect for a family or small groups of friends looking for a western adventure. The house underwent a total renovation in 2023 and is back on the rental market looking like a brand new house. Prior to renovation, our house was a VRBO Preferred Host and averaged 5 star ratings, and we expect even bettr reviews now with everything updated in the house. Located in the Aspens, a quiet, wooded neighborhood with Teton mountain views, the setting is very private, but just minutes from the ski resort and a short drive to downtown Jackson. We are also 5 miles from the Granite Springs entrance to Teton National forest, and 45 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone.

The home features an open floor plan with a very well-equipped kitchen and an inviting, open living and dining area featuring a gas fireplace. The kitchen has brand new appliances including a 6-burner Viking gas stove. There is also a wet bar with a drink fridge and sink. There are four private bedrooms in the house: a spacious master King suite with en-suite bath, a junior Queen suite along with en-suite bath, and two twin bedrooms each with their own full bath. There is a large back deck and a nice yard for enjoying the private setting and views (including frequent moose, deer and fox sightings). There is a small patio conveniently located next to the kitchen with a Weber gas grill. The house also has 2 flat screen smart TV's for your streaming needs (Family room and Main Bedroom), Sonos surround sound, and complimentary high-speed Wifi. Half of the house has air conditioning available (family room/kitchen and Main bedroom).

The Aspens location is extremely desirable with close proximity to all of the amenities of the area including the walking/bike path, world-class skiing (downhill and cross country), fine dining, grocery, fitness club, golf & tennis. A coffee/bakery shop, liquor store, upscale market/deli, laundymat, restaurants and banks are all within walking distance of the house in the neighborhood . Downtown Jackson is a short 8 mile drive.

Widlife sightings from house include fox, deer, moose and water fowl and birds of prey.

Peace and comfort await you in this beautiful Western home.

Stayed for a long weekend and it was awesome!! The photos don’t do it justice. Extra roomy and overall awesome space! Each bedroom has a bathroom which was nice!! Also great location! Highly recommend! I loved their kitchen, everything in the house is made with great quality materials which was super nice.

Perfect location - quick easy access to downtown Jackson and all there is to do on Jackson Hole mountain (Teton Village). The house was pristine and so comfortable! A very family-friendly home with lots of board games, plenty of space, and lovely nature views (tall trees afforded lots of privacy, and my son even spotted a fox). The kitchen was quite modern/new, a dream to cook in, and fully stocked. Definitely a favorite, and we cannot wait to go back!!

Overall the stay was enjoyable. Would have been 5 stars however the only issues we had was that it was unclear the 4th bedroom is only accessible from outside the main living area - not a deal breaker, but a bit of a pain for late night bathroom trips. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Way better than any condo in the aspens! Nice location, great space for guests to spread out, easy to get to the Village, etc. Beth was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would stay here again.

Beautiful mountain home away from home, relaxed and rich in character. Loved decor, furnishings, outdoor spaces, well laid out with all amenities considered. Convenient to Teton Village, Wilson, and Jackson. Easy travel to Yellowstone and Grand Teton N.P. Neighborhood Mama Moose with baby made our stay more than we could have hoped for!

Location Location Location! Perfectly situated between Jackson (15 mins) and Teton Village (5 mins). Plus, the house is fantastic and has every amenity one would want in a home. Can’t imagine a better place in Teton at this price. Probably one of the best rentals we have had In past 10 years! Thanks for sharing your house.

The place was as depicted. Clean, spacious and well stocked . It had more extra every day items than other paces we have rented. Quiet neighborhood. My only complaint was no screens on the windows. We were there in June and would have liked to open the windows. Would stay here again.

We stayed with my parents, my sister and family and ours for 4 nights here and loved everything about this cabin. The location to Teton village and the South entrance to the national park is ideal!! Quiet street where our kids could ride bikes and we just hung out on the front and back patios for many hours. Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. Grill worked great as well. Nice to have three bathrooms in the house for everyone and a washer and dryer. Plenty of nice linens and towels. We would stay here again in a heartbeat when coming back to Grand Tetons or the Jackson area. Highly recommended especially for families!!!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Everything about this house met our needs perfectly. The listing is accurate in terms of the amenities, so I won't repeat them here. It's a spacious house with a good sized LR/DR combo room along with a good sized deck out back. There were a number of nice touches that really made our stay even better. Communication with the owner was great and we were able to get in earlier than expected, which was very key. The house is well stocked with what I'd call the basics - plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, bath soap, shampoo, bug spray, spices/salt/pepper, plastic wrap, coolers, and more. All we had to do was buy some food and condiments. Plenty of utensils and pots/pans/bowls/etc. The grill had a full propane tank and was ready to go. The location was very nice as well. There is a specialty grocery store very close to the house, but I would recommend going into Jackson and the Albertson's there. It's a handful of miles to Jackson Hole resort and an equal number to the town of Jackson, so everything you'd want is pretty close. Our expectations were certainly exceeded, and if we come back to Jackson, we'll definitely try to stay here again.

Location was great. That said, upon arrival the entrance door would not open despite repeated attempts with key. Thankfully, found the slider able to unlock. House was very dirty! Food on handles of refrigerator and cabinet doors/drawers. Used coffee filter in the coffee maker...who knows how long it has sat there. Grease on stove top and console. Carpets/floors not vacuumed and carpets stained. The separate room attached to the garage has rodents in the eves, under house and perhaps inside. They kept our guest from sleeping well. With covid, we had been expecting clean, sanitized. I did not feel at ease and cleaned the kitchen, down to the refrigerator/cabinet handles, and all dishes. The pots/pans and silverware were put away with food on them. I emailed the owner and she was very gracious and apologetic. Our cleaning fee was refunded. That said, especially during this covid season, exceptional cleaning measures should be in place. This home did not show signs of even a basic clean. I can not recommend.

I'd rate this somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Compared with many other places in Jackson, this is a pretty good one and certainly in an excellent location. Compared with other places in resort areas elsewhere in the country, though, it's pricey for what you get. (Last year we stayed at a 5-star VRBO in a resort area in Maine for significantly less money). But that's the price you pay if you go to Jackson where everything is more expensive. As for the home, the location is superb -- very quiet neighborhood, good for jogging, near a market, close to things in Teton Village and Jackson, and the setting in an aspen grove is idyllic. Inside, the kitchen is good, livingroom/dining area is good, some nice high-tech equipment, nice mud-room entrance for ski season, beautiful master bedroom suite, decent guest rooms. It's fun to sit outside on the front area and chat with the occasional people who walk by or to sit out on the back deck. It's a great place from that perspective. In terms of negatives, I wish there was more hands-on, or local, management for oversight and for correcting small issues. We were given an incorrect Wi-Fi code and had no Wi-Fi access for the first day until the owner finally got back to us, and even then it was incorrect; we ultimately figured it out ourselves. The front door is a challenge to open from the inside as the door handle falls off. The "rules" for the house are not as clearly written as they could be. And the cleaning fee of $300 seems excessive for whatever little cleaning presumably went on before our visit. It also would have been nice to have some cushions to use on the outside metal chairs on the back terrace and a clean grill upon which to cook some steaks and maybe some gas in the propane tank for the grill. Fix some of those things and you get a solid 4 star place or maybe even 5 star.

Modest exterior opens to clean and beautifully decorated house where you feel at home. Compact & very well stocked kitchen worked well for multiple cooks. We cooked a lot and wanted for nothing in the way of tools, pots, pans or dishes, glasses or silverware. It's separated from the great room by a high counter and three stools. The great room, with leather furniture, vaulted ceilings and table that can seat 8 comfortably has a remote start gas fireplace that we loved on the chilly mornings and evenings. We really appreciated the throw blankets for wrapping up in too. There is a deck off both the front and the back of the house. The back deck with comfy cushioned furniture and dining table with umbrellaa gives easy access to nice sized backyard with grass for running around in The large master with very nice but smaller bathroom and walk in closet are off the great room. In the opposite direction and down the hall is a full bathroom with w/d, & two bedrooms. One has two twin beds and the other is an ensuite queen with large bath. The fourth bedroom (no bath is off the detached garage) is lovely and great for those who don't need to get up in the middle of the night;) What isn't emphasized is the great location. The neighborhood, the Aspens doesn't have sidewalks but there are paved trails just beyond that go everywhere. A small shopping strip with upscale grocery/liquor store is a short walk away. Two restaurants (Calico- enjoyed) are a 5 minute drive. A short drive takes you to the charming but touristy town of Jackson or head the other direction and go to Teton Village. A back entrance to Teton park isn't far away off a partially paved road which has many trail heads. This house worked so well for a 3 generation gathering. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Recommend bringing bikes as the paved trail looked fab. No significant wildlife sightings but a large owl silently flew very low over us on our last night My only suggestion for the owners would be a house book or guestbook where hikes, restaurant suggestions, rafting outfitters etc could be given thumbs up or down. Quality houses through VRBO are superior to hotels in our opinion but you don't have the front desk/concierge to guide you . Thanks so much for helping make our stay in JH,WY so comfortable.
