Unlike some parts of the river that are sometimes shallow, the water is deep enough to swim, float in a tube or fish. Located on one of the prettiest parts of the river and just a 12 minute drive down scenic River Road from Wimberley's town square.

This delightful two bedroom, one bathroom cottage has been decorated in a homey yet vibrant style. The large open living, dining and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings is great for entertaining and whipping up a delicious meal. Charming wrap around porches provide several seating areas along with a porch swing to sip cocktails or iced tea and include the perfect spot for dining al fresco. The wooded surroundings and fire pit provide a semi private setting to relax, roast marshmallows and enjoy the local wildlife that pass through the property.

While The Vagabond is a great place to unwind and enjoy the river it is also convenient to Wimberley and its unique shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Whether you are attending a nearby wedding, local wineries or going to market days stay here to make the most of your Texas hill country experience.
