Check-In/Out: Check‑in begins at 4 p.m. and check‑out is at 11 a.m. The main doors are fitted with a keyless entry lock, and your personalized access code will be sent two days before arrival, making your settling‑in simple and unhurried. If you’re hoping for an early check‑in or a later check‑out, just reach out and we’ll gladly see if the timing works.
Country Life: Although we’re close to downtown Wimberley, our property is very much part of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. With that comes the quiet, the peace, and the wildlife we’re grateful to share this land with. Deer and wild turkeys wander through the meadow and near the house almost every day, and we enjoy watching them and treating them with respect, and we appreciate guests doing the same during their stay.
As with any natural setting, there are a few creatures we’d rather not run into — snakes, bugs, and other parts of God’s creation that simply come with country living. Just stay aware as you wander the property, especially if you have pets along with you.
We keep regular pest control in place, but with our natural setting — and the creek running nearby — mosquitoes do make an appearance. We do our best to keep them at bay, yet they’re simply part of life out here in the Hill Country. For your comfort, you’ll find cans of bug spray in the barn and on the screened porch of the main home.
Well & Septic System: All our water comes from a private well and goes through a three‑stage filtration system, so it’s perfectly safe for showering and for drinking straight from the tap. We also have two fully independent septic systems — one for the main house and one for the barn. Both are professionally maintained and regularly monitored, so everything should run smoothly throughout your stay.
Pet Friendly
We’ve always had pets in our lives, and we know many of our guests feel the same, so we’re glad to welcome yours along for the stay. We allow up to two pets per reservation, with a $50 fee per pet. To help keep the home fresh and comfortable for everyone, we kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture and beds. Folks who travel with their animals are always so thoughtful, and we truly appreciate the care they show our home.
Internet & TV
We provide Starlink internet for the property and Roku on every television, giving you fast, reliable service wherever you are on the grounds. You’re welcome to sign in to your own streaming accounts and enjoy your favorite shows and movies during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our highest priority is to offer you a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and well cared for throughout your stay. Thanks to our dedicated team, the home is thoughtfully prepared each week with attention to cleanliness and detail. We simply ask that you treat our homes with the same care and respect you would your own, helping us keep this special place enjoyable for every guest.
Events & Celebrations
We’re so glad you’re considering a stay at our peaceful country home and barn here in the Hill Country. This is a lived‑in, well‑loved place meant for quiet escapes, family time, and meaningful moments — not a commercial event venue. We do allow our guests to host small, respectful gatherings, but they do need prior approval, and an additional fee may apply. Our hope is to help you host something special while preserving the calm, rural atmosphere that makes this place feel like home.
The main home, the barn, and all seven peaceful acres along Lone Man Creek are yours to enjoy.
I’m available anytime by message or text, and a trusted off‑site property manager is nearby in Wimberley for anything you might need along the way. Your privacy on the property remains uninterrupted throughout your stay.

** Important Update — Water Conservation **
Texas is in a severe drought, and we’re supplementing water for our tanks to keep everything running smoothly. We kindly ask for your mindfulness and care with water use during this challenging time. Your consideration truly helps us protect the land and maintain a comfortable stay for all guests.
We’re so glad you’re here and hope you feel at home during your stay. To help keep the retreat peaceful and well‑cared‑for, we kindly ask that you follow these simple guidelines:
No smoking anywhere on the property, including the barn.
Creek Quiet Hours: 8pm–10am. Sound carries across the water; please keep voices and music low. No live music, bands, or DJs.
Overnight guests are limited to those on the original reservation.
Furniture stays in place; if something is moved, please return it before checkout.
Towels: Beach/creek towels are in the barn and screened porch dresser; white bath towels stay indoors.
Please avoid hanging wet towels on furniture or the barn railing.
No open flames, fireworks, candles, firearms, or confetti.
If using silly string or water balloons, please clean up all debris.
