Nice House

I liked the large open area in the kitchen and living room. Kitchen had what we needed and more. We didn’t have much time to hang out at the house because our visit was all about a family wedding.

Great house in a great little town

The house was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to have our dogs with us too! We spent many nights around the fire pit after having a great meal in Wimberly.

Excellent Property - Excellent Stay

The property was perfect! It was laid out so that we could spend time with our family and enjoy watching the kids play in the game room. It was close to all the things in Wimberley and was exactly what was advertised. I would highly recommend this property and property owner. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again if it were open.

Great place!

Had a great stay with family! Host had everything there you could think of. Game area was awesome , unfortunately we ran out of time to utilize that space. Would be a great place for young teens! Nice touch being able to feed and watch deer in front yard! Had a wonderful time there!!

Short but Sweet Stay

In town for a wedding, did not get to fully enjoy all the amenities, especially the ping pong table. Loved looking out the window at the deer, would definitely like to return.

Perfect home and location

This house was exactly what we needed. Very close to Wimberley and it was extremely well appointed. Although we didn't cook there, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could have possibly needed. Even the bathrooms had toiletries and there were a lot of clean towels available. We had a great trip and enjoyed the stay at the house. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of blankets. Everything worked and went just fine. Highly recommended

Great house for bigger family

We didn’t even use a portion of the house with just 4 of us. Very comfortable, my daughter said best coffee available ever. Very soft comfortable beds. Very close to the high school which is why we were here. Very close to downtown. The speaker was a nice touch and tv had capability for hooking up your own streaming. Great place and I would come back.

Family Reunion and Wedding

What a great place to stay for our family reunion and wedding in Dripping Springs. The drive was easy and the house was so cozy to come back to. Lisa thought of everything-the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the Wimberley brochures were helpful, and there were plenty of linens for all. We played ping pong ,fussball, and some of the numerous games and would have loved to use the outdoor space if it had been warmer. The deer in the front yard were a real bonus for our 4 year old granddaughter. Wimberley is a charming town and this rental is a perfect place to stay. Thanks, Lisa!

A very comfortable pre-Christmas getaway

We spent three nights here right before Christmas and had a great time. This house is very well laid out with several areas to gather, including the living room, enclosed porch area, and outside seating areas. Plenty of room to spread out in different groups, and places to find peace and quiet. Everything is clean and new, and the kitchen is well equipped. It was fun to put out corn for the deer and watch them come very close to the front porch. We sat on the front porch drinking coffee in the morning and the deer came to within 15 feet of us. One evening there were nine deer in the front yard. The house feels secluded and private, but it is just a mile or so to the grocery store, and you can walk to Old Baldy and climb up for the great view of the entire area. Highly recommended.

Perfect Getaway

We loved the house! The location is so convenient to everything. The layout of the house worked great for our family of 5. We took our 3 adult kids and dogs. It was so nice spending the Thanksgiving weekend there. We enjoyed seeing the deer every morning while drinking our coffee. We even took our family Christmas card picture in the front yard. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We only ate out one meal and cooked the rest at the house. The beds are comfortable. The backyard was wonderful with the fire pit and gas grill. Our doodles loved running and playing in the backyard. The game room was so fun with the ping pong table, foosball table, darts and XBox. There were also plenty of other games as well. It was nice to be able to close the dogs in the game room when we went into town for shopping/eating. We also went to Johnson City to see the Christmas lights. My only wish was access to the laundry room but it was really no big deal for a short stay. The directions are clearly stated and we had no issues. We highly recommend this lovely home.

No mop. No vacuum. No clean.

Pros: Property manager was responsive prior and during stay. They gave permission for us to have a family group over. Close to town. We were able to walk to coffee and back no trouble at all. Generally quiet area and house was spacious. The deer were cute and came right close up to the house. Cons: the game room had a mildewy smell. It was so bad I couldn’t go inside there without a cover on my face and without feeling grimy. There were several dead roaches in the game room as well so it is hard to feel comfortable and that we are staying in a clean home under those circumstances. When the listing says there’s a small cottage “on the property” it does not tell you it’s immediately outside the door to get in and out of the home. It’s difficult to feel like you’re getting away from it all when there are complete strangers within spitting distance. The property manager said there is a washer and dryer in the home in a locked closet but for whatever reason they elect to not provide that amenity. My fault for overlooking that on the listing but it is impossible to not do laundry on a trip with family of six. There is no vacuum, just a broom. There is also no mop or wet swiffer. How does one expect a large family to stay in a home for four days without a vacuum or mop? It feels gross to be in a home that long and not clean the floor. There are no hangers and the closet doors have all been removed. An electric kettle was listed as an amenity but there was none.

Just the right place for us!

This is absolutely the cleanest and best stocked vacation rental we have ever had! It seems that every detail was thought of in advance of what our needs might be. My family felt “at home” in this home! Your pictures did not do your place justIce. Wishing the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed the outdoor spaces.
