"Make sure you check the size of the rooms before you book. A standard room here runs you under 200 sq. Ft. The bed barely fits, and you have no room to place your baggage or move around. I booked a king standard room which was small. The first night was manageable, but the morning after we kept getting a smoke smell, as if someone had been smoking in/around the room. We asked to be moved by phone, but no one came. I had to go personally to guest services to ask for a new room. They did provide a new room. However, the room they provided was a complete downgrade to an even smaller room with a queen size bed. Total rip off. In addition to that the new room had a mini fridge that did not work. I asked them to come change out the mini fridge a couple of times and they never did that. Also, our room was freezing cold, it took the heater 20-30 min to come on, after making crazy crackling noises and even then it didnt heat the room enough at night. I would have to turn off the heater to get some sleep due to all the noise it made. Overall, The Hotel looks nice in the common areas such as lobby, starbucks lounge and bar lounge. The location is great, But the rooms need some serious updating/remodeling. "

"I have stayed here multiple times and it is the only hotel I will use in London. The decor is stunning and so well put together. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the gorgeous staircase, you know you've picked the right place. The staff are always so attentive and more than ready to help when you need it. The door is always opened for and you're always greeted with a warm welcome. If you need anything during your stay, they will make sure you have it within minutes. Whether it's extra towels, help carrying your bags, or even booking transportation, they are there to serve you and always with a smile. The breakfast buffet is top notch and a great way to start your day before exploring the city. And you couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel is across the street from the Gloucester road Underground station which houses two of the most accessible tube lines. It makes getting around London a breeze. This is definitely the place you want to stay on your holiday."

"Clean room, friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was really good, but the dinner service was not. The dinner was a bit mediocre for the cost. The fitness room costs an additional fee to use. They do not allow guests to check in early unless you want to pay 80 euros additional. This was irritating as our flight arrived at 6:30am. They said we could get in immediately if we pay, so the rooms were available and ready. My friend stayed at a different hotel and was able to check in early without the extortion."
