"Def would recommend! Loved it! Luxurious room/breakfast experience. Great staff too. Was worried about parking but actually plenty of room. Also, v good location. My 87 year old slow walking mum was able to walk into the city and back each day we were there, and that was up the slope! She said it was an easy/enjoyable walk! We had planned to use buses but didn’t need to. "

"Great hotel I've used before and will do so again. Unfortunately only a family room was available so cost more than my usual and was in excess of requirements. My fault for booking at last minute! I would say, however, this would be amazing for a family with lots of space."

"Situated in the centre of town and perfect for accessing Clarks Village. Lovely old building but extremely well maintained. Great staff. Would definitely stay there again."

"Our room was very spacious-complete with a seating area, a makeup table, a curio for clothes, and a large bathroom. We also appreciated the in room coffee and tea, which was a great added bonus. You're just steps away from a grocery store, making it easy to grab anything you need. It's about 20-30 minute walk to the Baths main bus station but you can take the bus for $2-$3 per person just down the street. Ten to fifteen minutes to the panoramic views of Bath. In the opposite direction, a short 15-20 minute walk uphill takes you to the Red Lion Pub, which is reasonably priced and a variety. Closer to town, you'll also find Bear Inn and a Fish and Chips shop, both with great value and variety. We didn't try the continental breakfast due to allergies, but it is available at an additional cost. Next door is the Devonshire Arms Pub, which serves beer, wine, liquor, and crisps (but no meals). Devonshire's owner personally introduced himself, offered great local recommendations, and even waited with us for our Uber on the day of departure. He also left us excellent directions to the best panoramic views"

"Loved our stay at Leigh Park Country House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend and stay again."

"A great spot for easy access to Bath, Bristol and the delightful village of Cheddar and the gorge. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the food they prepared was plentiful and tasty. We can recommend a meal in the gorgeous train carriage attached to the bar - a lovely experience. "

"Stayed overnight prior to a day at the East Somerset Railway 10 minutes away. Jeff welcomed us on arrival , and showed us to our room. Room was compact, but very comfortable, en suite, tea and coffee , tv and hairdryer in room , and very comfy bed. Had a nice meal in the evening, served by a very friendly lady ( sorry we didn’t catch her name) , in the cosy dining room. We pre-ordered breakfast, which was lovely and set us up for the day. All in all this was s great stay, with friendly hosts and great value. We would thoroughly recommend the Pecking Mill Inn."
