"Wonderful people, rooms and location. This may be my husband and I’s favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Get the tea time cakes if you can, they’re so, so good!"

"An excellent establishment where have stayed many times.
As with all hospitality businesses there are occasional issues however, they are dealt with correctly as and when they do occur."
"The room was disgusting, wall papper hanging of ceiling and walls, also stained with what looks like water marks, cobwebs round the windows and what has to be the most uncomfortable bed with only 1 pillow each which was lumpy and as hard as concrete, paint peeling off the walls, and drafty is an understatement, the windows are as rotton as hell, the place needs a co.plete refurbishment offthewalls, 1pullow each"
"Room was very small and in need of repair. One of the doors on the shower cubicle came off when I closed it so had to put it back on. Went to pull the curtain and the hook fell off. Indoor TV aerial came off the wall a couple of times. Bathroom didn't have a proper washbasin, it was more like a garden planter on top of the toilet. Nowhere to hang any clothes. The whole hotel looked tired with a not very good makeover. Fair to say its very easy to get into town and the guy on reception was friendly."
"The whole stay was lovely. The room was great. Clean and very comfortable bed!!
Staff were helpful.
Love the free mini bar ! Such a nice touch
Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked . Staff were helpful with veggie options and we had freshly cooked sausages!
I can really recommend staying here .
Thank you
Jane"
"Lovely little hotel. Staff were helpful, kind and considerate. The hotel is in a great location for walking around Rye and the car park was easily accessible, albeit £10.30 a day quite expensive. We stayed in room 7, large and comfortable with a large en-suite. Although needed updating, along with the communal areas which could do with a lick of paint and new carpet. Overall a good hotel with a great breakfast."
