Very comfortable hotel close to Winchester

A well run, efficient, friendly hotel with very pleasant well trained staff. Hotel pool and gym in excellent order, as was the rest of the hotel. Some bedrooms are reserved especially for those of us with dogs, with doggy waste bins in the grounds. Will definitely return here.

A really nice hotel in the countryside. Polite and friendly staff. Very good selection of food for breakfast. Rooms clean and tidy with goid washroom facilites. Really comfortable bed.

Overall a good hotel, it was smart and clean with great grounds and facilities . The only slight disappointment was the prices and quality of the food! A chicken Caesar salad at £20.50 you would have expected a little more than a small amount of salad with a fairly tasteless dressing, around 5 small croutons and a dry, barely warm piece of charred chicken breast. The breakfast was also a bit of a shambles as not one of the staff really looked after the hot buffet. The buffet ran out as soon as it hit the hot plate, so you then had to find a member of the service team to see if they could get some more food out . The hotel in our eyes could be much better if there was just an eye for detail in the service and food quality as it was a wonderful experience other than this.

Family Christmas break

Good for the cost though seemed slightly understaffed over the Christmas period perhaps. Gym and pool area decent, nice staff across site. Needs a little spruce up of exterior and recycling bins as an improvement.
