Lovely B&B in Windermere

Lovely place to stay in Windermere about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Room had everything we needed and breakfast was very good each morning. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Best place I’ve stayed!

I had an amazing stay! The bed and sheets were very comfortable and the room was really clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and Becky and Rob were wonderful hosts. They made great suggestions when my tour was cancelled at the last minute and we’re very thoughtful and kind.

Both Rob and Becky were very welcoming and friendly during our visit. Breakfast was excellent. The place itself is perfectly clean and had really comfy beds. Location was spot on and only a 5 minute walk to Windermere. Plenty of walks and activities to do in the local area too.

Great guest house

Really great guest house. Kind hosts, good room - and newly refurbished bathroom really good. Perfect breakfast. Able to park outside. Short walk to the town centre. Great to have a sofa in the room.

The property is lovely! It’s the perfect distance from the train station while also being close to bowness and the lake. Rob is very helpful when giving recommendations and is very knowledgeable about the area. He also makes a great breakfast!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Ellerbrook House. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable and had lovely extra touches with free toiletries and tea/coffee. The breakfasts were lovely and there was a lot of choice. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place for a stay in Windermere. Town was a 5 min walk away with a good range of restaurants too. Pleasure to meet you Rob and Becky. This was my first time staying in a B&B and it was lovely. The room was very comfortable with a small sofa and tv and the little things like wine glasses and a corkscrew and bathrobes just added to it. The breakfast was really tasty and Robert, the host was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I would definitely recommend it 😊

Felt very comfortable and the owners were so pleasant and friendly. Room was bright and spacious and was stocked well with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. Thoughtful little touches in room like tissue box, wine glasses, do not disturb sign. Breakfast lovely in bright front room and offered cereals, selection of cooked food and fruit and yoghurts, apple juice, orange juice, tea, coffee.

We enjoyed the breakfasts with the exception of the bacon on the first day. Other than that there was plenty to eat. The triple room was very cosy with enough space for myself and my son. The shower room was small and clean but didn't have a sink. The sink was in the bedroom. The area was quiet and within easy distance from Windermere with train, bus and shopping facilities.
