We had a great stay at Rum Doodle, a friendly welcome on arrival we were shown to our room. We stayed in Wish, which was clean, well equipped and we loved the quirky decor and nice village views. Great shower! The only minor issue we found was the 4-poster bed was quite creaky, and some noise from other rooms but that's just the nature of the building, and it was very quiet overnight so we slept well. The location is great for exploring Windermere and Bowness, both easily in walking distance and the lakes beyond. Breakfast was filling and a good selection of hot options as well as fresh fruit salads, cereals and toast. Overall we would definitely stay at Rum Doodle again and recommend to others.
