When in Windsor, try to visit the Two Brewers pub, near long walk park.
Windsor Castle is wonderful to see. I prefer it over Buckingham. Great area to walk around.
Very quiet at night when Tours left. Enjoyable. Worth the stay outside of London.
I am biased as I used to live in Windsor but it is still a fantastic place to visit
