Guest Houses in Windward Islands

"It was small but exactly as pictured and it definitely had a soft bed and friendly people."

"View"

"This place is in a great location, walking distance to the market and ferry. It’s a little tricky to find and not a typical hotel. There are 4 or 5 large rooms/ units with large beds, large bathroom and small kitchenette. The staff was friendly and helpful"

"Valerie and Laurent went out of their way to ensure we had a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and comfortable with a wide balcony affording great views of the ocean. The road there is steep and winds around but we had no problems driving there. Being sround 7km from central Papeete, it is close enough to drive there and to get to the ferries to Mo'orea. It is away from the congestion of Papeete, making it a relaxing place to stay."

"Spacious 3 bedroom villa with great air conditioning in bedrooms, wonderful deck and plunge pool. Handy to have washing machine. Close to good restaurants. Welcome guide would be helpful or more communication with host / front desk re garbage etc. We had no mosquitoes and sat outside at dusk and in the evenings. Wonderful stay!"

"super view close to oceon maid every day well equiped kitchen area host very helpful was a great stay went back for a second short stay"

"This pension is run by a family. They were lovely and we felt part of the family when we left a week later. The owner cooks for you if you request it. By the way healthy meals, delicious, and well balanced. You can have breakfast as well if you let them know the day prior. I highly recommend this place situated in a quiet area where relaxation takes absolute center place"

"Secluded and quiet retreat. Very safe and the restaurant is great for lunch. Staff very accommodating"

"Unit directly on the beach was great. Very quiet and relaxing stay."

"Very nice staff"

"We would definitely stay again in the future. Nadine is very helpful and the place is clean and safe."

"An emergency booking due to a flight delay out of Tahiti so we would take anything. Family owners were extremely friendly and helped us out. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable bed."

"Decent spot but the owner from the time we showed up just simply made us feel like we were not a customer AT ALL. Read the other reviews before booking here. Very consistent message about her."

"Perfect house with covered parking close to beach. Delightful property owners. Enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Wonderful Hosts! They made me feel so welcome and breakfast was excellent!"

"Place was very nice. Had a few stairs to climb up to the front door. Parking area was grass and lava rocks which you can park close to the stairs if mobility is a concern. Backyard does have the ocean cove right there. Only provided two large bath towels for a two night stay. I didn't request more towels so I don't know if that would be available. Wash cloths would have been nice. No closets or dressers, but some shelves. I rented a car at the airport because I don't know how easy it would be to...

"This place is magical. Beautifully landscaped, the decor and layout is inviting and original. The owner, Martine, was incredibly helpful with any needs we had, full of tips on what to do and proud to share her knowledge of the place. It is a tranquil oasis, interrupted only by the clucking of roaming chickens and roosters. Perfect for a relaxing get away in paradise."

"We had a fabulous stay here. If you are a Hilton or sofitel person this place isn't a fit for you. If you want a safe clean space with good amenities I highly recommend it. For the price point is unbeatable. Room has a full kitchen which is pretty great. Secure easy parking. Mark is amazing and happy to share his knowledge. We felt very welcome here and loved our stay."

"Owner was helpful and recommended places to eat or buy food and places to explore in the area"
