"Fabulous place to stay if you want something different. Large clean bedrooms & great breakfast. There was a wedding on when we arrived but they allowed us to stay & eat as nowhere else around had availability. Lovely to have the church next door & grounds to walk around. Highly recommend. Shop nearby for spirits & liqueurs that are made in the local distillery."

"I was unable to check in on my confirmed date, as this was on a Wednesday when the place is closed. I read the instructions in the booking that travellers must contact the property at least 24 hours before check in - which is 1 pm to 2.30 pm! I tried to contact a number I found on the website (not provided with booking) which reached an answer phone without an option to leave a message nor text. Pretty terrible situation after a long day of hiking in unfamiliar areas! Since I was unable to...

"Overall the hotel fitted what was needed, however a 4pm close of reception at wknd was very odd and too early. The hotel follows a policy of only making up/ refreshing towels etc every : days unless requested.
Breakfast was a good selection as you’d expect.
