The hosts were great at communicating and we had no issues during our stay. Although we had a bit of a surprise when the 2.5 bathrooms turned out to be 1 shower room and 2 small loo rooms without any loo role - which for a house accommodating 12 was not what we had anticipated! The cottage was spotlessly clean and very peaceful with two spacious doubles, both with their own TV and modern en-suite facilities. Comfortable lounge with wood burner, TV and jigsaw ready to go - all with lovely views over to Hardy's Monument. Ideal location for visiting the local area by car - we went to Weymouth (Catch! restaurant was fab), Dorchester, Poundbury,...

"Unfortunately the house was not clean. Shoes needed to be worn as the floors were not clean enough to wear just socks. There wasn’t enough cutlery for all of us to eat. The bedrooms were well equipped but the bed was uncomfortable and pillows were so thin they were pointless. However the fact that we all had a tv and an en-suite was brilliant.
