"Pleasantly surprised. Not our 1st choice. Checking in went smoothly. They gave us a first floor room, as a cast was on a guests foot. Clean- had it been repainted? Curtains blocked out light, looked new. Plenty of clean towels. Breakfast was stellar-sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, etc. Really a comfortable stay."

"Great location to nearby grocery store, pizza place, espresso stand and easy trail in to town for shopping and more restaurants & history. The room suited our needs, with a dog, however, we could hear everything the above room people said, walked, snored, flushed, tv, etc. It was quite disturbing to our dog. Otherwise the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, a larger TV would help and maybe a table and love seat"

"The inn is located on a river within 3-5 minutes of the historic center of Winthrop. It is pet friendly and the grounds are excellent for walks. I met the owner and she is friendly. We would happily stay here again."

"This home was lovely. It was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed. We appreciated the knife set that was nice and sharp (we’ve stayed in places previously with crappy knives). It was within close proximity to the national park and lots of trails. David reached out a few times just to check to see if we needed anything. I’d go back to this place for sure."
