You will appreciate the prime location of this spacious apartment, whose exposed beams add to its charm. Situated within a protected area, it is the ideal starting point for exploring the town of Wissembourg and all its hidden treasures. In the priory loft, wake up overlooking the rooftops of Northern Alsace and have a front-row seat to enjoy the storks' aerial ballet. Spend a night under the 300-year-old "cathedral" roof with its more than 3-meter high ceilings. This duplex overlooking the rooftops of the fortified city consists of a boudoir-style living room, a relaxation lounge, and a bedroom (180x200 bed) on the loft level, and a small space with a single bed on the duplex level. An extra bed can be provided for a fourth person. To best respect the house's architectural heritage, the 300-year-old floorboards, made from old railway carriage floorboards, have been completely rebuilt, as have the custom-made bullseye windows crafted by a master carpenter, and the beautiful timber frame, fully restored and sandblasted by skilled artisans. The bathroom, completely enclosed and separate, has indulged in a few whimsical touches: pink terracotta tiles, black faucets, an authentic retro porcelain and earthenware sink, and a terrazzo floor. Nothing beats a little pep to wake you up in the morning. Bathrobes are provided. Soap and shower gel are also provided. The kitchen is fully equipped: induction hob, grill oven, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. Coffee, tea, and sugar are provided. Salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar are also available. Sleeping arrangements: In the sleeping area, which is partially open to the living room, you will find a 180x200 cm bed. In the mezzanine area, there is a single bed (90x200 cm), and for a fourth person, a 90x200 cm folding bed can be set up in the living area. Please note that the apartment entrance is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator.
