Geweldig

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Het Kasteel is super mooi ingericht , het personeel is allemaal vriendelijk. Ons verblijf hebben we heel fijn ervaren , om in de toekomst zeker nog een keer terug te gaan.

tolles Hotel mit herrlicher Atmosphäre

Dieses Kasteel ist ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit geräumigen, gut ausgestatteten Zimmern. Zwar haben sie keine Klimaanlage, dafür aber leistungsstarke Lüfter, die mir sowieso lieber sind, weil ich Klimaanlagen einfach nicht mag. Den Lüfter kann ich so hinstellen, wie ich möchte. (Geschmackssache). Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Frühstück, das am Tisch serviert wird, ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Besonders schön ist die Außenterrasse des Restaurants. An kühleren Abenden werden Gasheizungssäulen aufgestellt, die die gemütliche Atmosphäre noch unterstreichen. Wirklich herausragend ist die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Ganz große Klasse!!! Wichtig anzumerken: es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Kasteel; die Gartenanlage drumherum hat einen sehr schönen alten Baumbestand; in und um dem Kasteel gibt es einige sehenswerte Kunstwerke (Bronzen und Steinskulpturen). Mehr fällt mir im Moment nicht ein. Fazit: Wir sind so begeistert, dass wir bestimmt mal wieder hinfahren werden!!!

A Chance to Stay in a Castle

The castle and grounds are lovely. The room was comfortable. No elevator, but the check-in people carried our luggage upstairs. The hotel made a reservation for dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Kasteel ligt in een prachtige omgeving

Vanaf de aankomst tot het einde een woord fantastisch Werden bij aankomst ontvangen door de gastheer die ons verwelkom heette onder het genot van een drankje, hierna naar de kamer begeleid door onze gastheer, waarna wij de omgeving hebben verkent waarna we in de launchbar nog wat gedronken, Het diner was perfect en ons werd bij iedere gang uitleg gegeven van wat er op de het bord lag, na diner de avond afgesloten in de bar. Het ontbijt was even als het diner van grote klasse en heeft ons wel gesmaakt.

Kasteel-Hotel van grote klasse

Ontvangen en bediend door een staf die hun vak zeer goed verstaan. Het gehele weekend geleefd in een uitermate prettige sfeer. M.a.w: we waanden ons 48 uur "op stand". Ligging van dit fraaie complex is bijzonder en straalt rust uit in een heel mooie omgeving. Het weer werkte overigens ook geweldig mee. Kortom: een aanrader voor iedereen die van klasse houdt.

Bijzondere overnachting

Omdat Maastricht vol zat met Andre Rieu gangers, zijn we uitgeweken voor een overnachting naar Kasteel Wittem. Dat was een goede keus! Prachtige omgeving, een sprookje wanneer je de oprijlaan op rijd, ben een upgrade naar een ruimere kamer. Mooi ingericht, echt in de stijl van een kasteel. Goed bed. Helaas moesten we de volgende ochtend al op tijd weer weg, waardoor we geen gebruik konden maken van het ontbijt. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Super schönes und sehr herliches Hotel!!!! Toll!!!

Tolle Unterkunft mit einem sehr herzlichen Empfang. Keine Massenabfertigung dafür toller, individueller Service. Toller Zimmer! Empfehlung: einen Abend im Restaurant Essen gehen und das Überraschungs Menü wählen! Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Wij kwamen voor de Kar3el de Grote tentoonstellingen in Aken en we vonden het heerlijk om ons 's avonds in kasteel Wittem terug te trekken.

Hidden Gem

Booked this at the last minute. Didn't know what to expect. Got a very pleasant suprise when we arrived. It is superb. Our room could only be described as luxurious. The welcome was even more so, even though it was a busy time. The best advice I can give is: Have the breakfast. You will not regret it (unless you are on a diet). The restaurant is closed on Mondays, so we can't comment on that. Excellent food is available in Ginkel though. Try "De Imperator".

Great hotel, very nice staff

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Everything was very good. A little disappointed by the bathroom as the shower over the bath cord was too small to stand up straight under it and there was no curtain/long glass to avoid splashing the whole bathroom while showering, only a very small piece of glass.

Something 'different' & very attractive

Very friendly welcome with a free drink (!), a beautiful hotel (old & historical) - made a very nice change from the usual 'chain' type. Has 12 rooms so nice and intimate. It should be noted that the Dutch eat 'early' in the evenings - and most restaurants in the area (inc. the Hotel) are closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings - due to the low population and corresponding lack of demand. That isn't a bad thing !
