Ideal for a short stay

Great hotel for a short stay ……. Much better than I anticipated and I would certainly recommend for a few days. Hotel room was comfortable, had a small conservatory and had an excellent shower. The area around the hotel is quiet, but has a good train connection to Dortmund.

Good value for money hotel

This hotel is great value for money and whilst certainly not 5 star, it’s more than adequate for our needs. Single room is big enough and bed comfortable enough (another pillow would be nice). The shower is in a wet room and is fantastic. Takes 11 minutes on the train into Dortmund HBF, with trains running a 30 minute schedule. Not a lot in Witten Annen-Nord, but found a local bar near the station to watch a couple of football games.

Good Value Option for Basic Accommodation

Basic, reasonably good value accommodation which suited me fine - certainly much cheaper than most places in nearly Dortmund city centre - but just a short train ride away. No frills, but clean and comfortable enough in a convenient location. Breakfast options good. I was able to get into the accommodation even though arriving late in the evening, via the code for the key box which I got from phoning the hotel ahead of arrival. It would be preferable if the booking details (and website) mentioned this so that guests know, but it worked out fine for me.

Rezeption nur über Telefon erreichbar, bekommt dann die Zahlenkomination für die Aussentür und dann die Kombination fur den Schlüsseltresor. Leider gibt es keinen Kaffee oder Tee im Zimmer. Im Hausflur steht ein Getränkeautomat an dem man sich Getränke holen kann. Betten sind gut, Badezimmer sauber, im Haus ist es auch leise. Ich würde aber immer wieder dort nächtigen. Preis Leistung ist ok.

Ich mag das Hotel! Es ist einzigartig, ein wenig schräg, man merkt, dass die Menschen diesem Hotel ganz bewusst seinen sehr eigenen Geist gegeben haben. Man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl.

Schnelles und unkompliziertes ein und aus Checken. Einrichtung ist Zweckmäßig aber definitiv veraltet und sollte mal überarbeitet werden. Im Großen und ganzen kann man sagen das ganze ist entspricht eher einem Hostel

Nicht schön aber des Preises angemessen

Zimmer war sauber aber in schlechtem Zustand. Rauchmelder lag ohne Batterie lose auf dem Kleiderschrank. Absperrhahn fürs Kaltwasser war undicht und tropfte ins Badezimmer. Die Ablage in der Dusche war rostig. Leider gab es auch nur ein kleines Kopfkissen auf dem Zimmer.
