Amazing service!!

It's a great little hotel with fantastic service. A little older, but nice and clean. The restaurant was good also. The breakfast buffet was always fully stocked and if you needed anything, all you had to do was ask. The hotel is conveniently located near the central market. Wi-fi is decent. The only drawback is no elevator so if you have trouble with stairs, be aware, but that wasn't a big concern for us. The staff at the hotel is amazing!! They went out of their way to make our stay great.

Not something that the hotel can do anything about but visitors should be aware that the local church clock strikes every quarter of an hour through the night. Otherwise an excellent place to stay.

Es war bestimmt mal nett hier...

Haben ein Zweibettzimmer gebucht und dann das Appartement unterm Dach bekommen. Wie zu erwarten war es dort recht warm. Das Doppelbett war zwar bequem aber das Kopfende stand so dicht unter der Dachschräge, dass man sich sogar beim umdrehen den Kopf stößt oder mit den Füßen unten raushängt ! Die Küche war eigentlich überhaupt nicht ausgestattet, es war kein einziges Glas im Schrank, kein Besteck in den Schubladen...einfach nichts außer ein paar Töpfen und altem Gewürz und Tee. Immerhin war der Kühlschrank nutzbar. Ein Ventilator war vorhanden, hat aber selbst auf höchster Stufe nicht wirklich funktioniert. Im Bad gab es zwei Waschbecken, beim Rechten kam kaum Wasser raus...gut das es links besser war. Bei der Duschtrennwand fehlte ein Innengriff, somit klapperte die äußere Griffhälfte. Teppiche waren fleckig, Wandlampen hingen teilweise locker an der Wand, die Jalousien konnten teilweise nicht verstellt werden. Insgesamt war alles etwas runtergerockt, für 94,- Euro hätte ich doch etwas mehr erwartet. Der Vorraum zum Appartement diente als Lagerfläche für Matratzen und Bettgestelle. Das Frühstück war ganz okay, die (Aufback-?) Brötchen wurden wohl morgens alle zusammen im Ofen aufgewärmt, waren um 9 Uhr schon etwas trocken. Mein Fazit: Es war vor Jahren bestimmt mal gut, mittlerweile besteht aber doch Handlungsbedarf. Ich werde beim nächsten Mal doch lieber ein anderes Hotel ausprobieren.

Es war das ideale Hotel für unseren Ausflug

Für unseren Besuch der Wittlicher Säubrenner Kirmes ist es das ideale Hotel. Direkt am Rande der abgesperrten Innenstadt gelegen konnten wir alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet. Bett sehr bequem. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Bad ist geräumig und sehr gepflegt. Es gibt ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad und auch im Zimmer. Bei geschlossenem Fenster haben wir vom Kirmeslärm nicht mitbekommen. Das Frühstück war gut sortiert. Es wurde alles nachgefüllt und ansprechend präsentiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Reserva não confirmada/overbooking

Assim que chegamos para fazer o check in (era feriado) não havia ninguém e estava tudo fechado. Começamos a chamar gritando por alguém até que um senhor nos escutou e ligou no celular de uma moça. A moça nos atendeu e alegou não conhecer nossa reserva e que estavam lotados. Ficamos sem chão em pleno feriado no interior da Alemanha sem hotel. Ela alegou não trabalhar com a hoteis.com. Ela fez uma ligação e nos indicou outro hotel que achei pior. Nos deixou estacionar o carro lá pois no outro hotel não havia estacionamento. Mais tarde comuniquei a hoteis.com que entrou em contato com hotel e o mesmo disse que por um problema no recebimenfo dos seus e-mails não viram minha reserva e que se enganou ao dizer que não trabalhava com a hoteis.com pois não sabia que a hoteis.com tinha a Expedia como parceira. Enfim foi uma desilusão e uma frustração viajar mais de 4 horas de carro chegar e não ter seu hotel reservado. Registro minha insatisfação e acho estranho a hoteis.com não fazer um check ou um follow up de suas reservas. Em plena epóca de vários meios de comunicação deixar perder uma reserva por problemas de e-mail é inaceitável.

Gute zentrale Lage und nettes Personal

Wir sind nur eine Nacht geblieben. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Hotel selber ist etwas "in die Jahre gekommen". Der Raucherbalkon war nicht besonders einladend - hier hätte man mal etwas aufräumen und sauer machen können. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist ein Plus.
