"We had a wonderful time, location was good to access the train station. The property was nice, older quaint home. Small bedrooms with a few minor issues but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The car charging station was not functional for all cars. The host was extremely friendly. Good people!"

"The mosquitos made it intolerable. I don’t recommend this place to people who don’t like to be bitten by mosquitoes while sleeping. I have 30-something itchy bites on arms and face - including 9 on my face and neck that are red bumps - same with my husband, and I still have seven days of vacation left, not good.The house and nature around it are nice (I assume the mosquito breeding ground is in the still (sometimes cow sounds from the farm next door it’s easy to bike to and from there, very flat, but if you want to get around quicker take a rental car. Uber seems to be more expensive from here."

"Easy booking with timely and detailed communication. It was convenient to check in and get the keys as the owner lives in the house beside the rental property. Clean and well maintained rooms. Spacious corridor, spacious and well equipped kitchen for pots and pans, utensils, cups, mugs, cutlery. Electric stove, fridge, oven and microwave in the kitchen area. Dishwasher with detergent tabs and dish soap was there. Clean linens and bath towels. No soap or shampoo. There was hair dyer. The location is decent because it is 20 min from Utrecht ( pretty good city for food, rent bikes and roam around), 40 min from Amsterdam. With Montfoort as the base you can visit Delft, Zaanse, Hague and Giethoorn and around Amsterdam. House is surrounded by farm and there are cows that you can see grazing. You can also ask for a tour of the farm. Overall it was a nice relaxing experience. There is one resolvable thing- the rooms feel hot and the windows on the ceiling open with a rod that is provided but owner promptly provided fans upon our request. The windows at eye level do not open. Recommend the place. "

"We loved our nine day stay at this VRBO. The bedrooms and baths were wonderful. Beds were comfy!! Bedrooms were very roomy, had great storage and were very sound proof. The dining table and kitchen space could not have been better. Everything was nice and clean and every member of our three families enjoyed being there. We had six children under 12 years of age and they loved being able to play soccer in the backyard and they even created a fishing pole out of a long stick and caught a few fish. It was an absolutely perfect place for children that age although watching them by the water was necessary. We were close to several little grocery stores and the kitchen was more than adequate with everything you needed for cooking meals. The table seated 12 very easily and was a wonderful place to sit and play games as well. Our children and grandchildren loved watching the dairy operate and seeing the cows close up and keeping track of them. Several evenings we saw lots of hot air balloons float by near the property which made for great excitement. We planned day trips to various Netherland cities and this property was a nice distance from most places. We would highly recommend this property and would stay there again if we were back in the Netherlands."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel - Piet was so very helpful and friendly. They contacted us before our stay to welcome us; the room was ready when we arrived; the amenities were great. The hotel is very quiet and only about 2 km away from the castle. The hotel let us use their bikes to travel around the area. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you Piet and Marianne!"
