"The breakfast was great each morning. Staff were helpful and were always polite and kind. The room was clean and the view of the Thames River was always mesmerizing."

"Terrible. No water, no plugs by the bed, a shower door that sounds like it’s going to fall over and break. This is a never been renovated Sofitel. Do not Stay here. Staff were completely blank. Could not even get a basic necessity like water delivered. Waited an hour and had to walk to reception. "

"Centrally located in London with access across the street to a tube station that will take you anywhere you need to go in the city and Heathrow Airport. Super friendly, helpful and hard-working staff were an absolute pleasure to interact with and genuinely want you to have the best stay possible. Excellent customer service without being stuffy or fussy. Hotel itself is gorgeous and rooms are big, modern while retaining historic charm, comfy beds, all different country formats of plugs for your electronics and beautiful bathrooms with incredible soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner. The warming towel rack is a fantastic bonus. Would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat without hesitation."

"The room was clean but very dated. Notable problems included a poor shower (the bath ran at the same time). The room had no opening windows, which made it stuffy and as the aircon didn't seem to cool, this didnt help. Also the aircon was load, making sleep difficult if you want air! We paid for the breakfast which was ok, seemed a little over priced as there was not much choices. The 2nd morning's breakfast was chaotic and we had to wait. Staff are friendly and helpful. "

"Not my first time here, but happy to return again. As ever, the staff are absolutely lovely and some of the best in the business. I was greeted by Dhavani who was kind, accommodating and went out of her way to help me with a genuine warm smile and personality. The staff all seem to be encouraged to be themselves in a positive way, so it’s never a cookie-cutter experience here. It’s part of the reason I’m alway happy to come back. The hotel is a little older, so there is a slight shabby-chic feel, but it’s perfectly lovely to stay in. The bed and sheets are very comfy, and the rooms are warm and welcoming. Will happily stay again. "

"My stay itself was great - the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and the location, vibe, rooms and staff have been great. However, my opinion of the hotel has gone downhill since I asked them to return to me a water bottle I’d left in the room and they asked for £20 for the service! (Which would cost c£5 through Royal Mail. Even adding a small amount for packaging, they are clearly profiteering rather than looking after guests). I then asked if they could keep it for me until I return to London and they said they could not, and my only option was to pay the £20. I’ve gone from loving this hotel, and it being my ‘go-to’ for London trips, to feeling ripped off by then. Oh, and by the way, I also paid the optional £8 service charge when I checked out as the team had been lovely - how can they take this money then look to profit from guests misadventure. Rant over. "

"Great location just off Oxford Street, room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. The only issue was the wait for coffee to be offered. You can get coffee for yourself but the machine did run out at times. Great hotel for a London trip. Tube is just around the corner."
