"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "Fenton's is good for large groups. We particularly liked the outdoor area with the fire and it was also handy having a bar area! The hosts had thought of everything - plenty of blankets for us to use around the fire, loads of glasses in the kitchen, cocktail shakers, 2 fridges, plenty of coffee pods and the beds were very cosy and warm. "We had a wonderfully peaceful stay as a family of four with two kids. The spacious grounds were perfect for the kids to explore, giving them plenty of room to roam and enjoy nature. Inside and out, the property was warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor fires—and plenty of firewood provided, which was a lovely touch. "We found the property very suitable for our purposes. I think the gardens and the some of the paving could be given attention. The 3 rd cottage needs maintenance in the bathroom.particularly the shower head which is broken. "

Everything you can want and more. We took all our own food and drinks so we didn’t have to leave and the 3 kitchens enabled us to do this seamlessly. "A beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The kids loved interacting with all the animals - especially the sheep! Just a shame that there was no manager on site to chat to/show us around. The firewood box inside had not been refilled (and unfortunately no kindling left, we had to go buy some), one of the electric blankets was not working as well as the buckets marked for food for the chicken and sheep were empty. Despite this, it's an absolutely beautiful location - relaxing by the lake was blissful and the star gazing was the best we've ever seen. Just a couple of small tweaks needed for it to be absolutely perfect."
