"Great place to stay! Comfy beds, all of the staff are super punctual, polite and personable if you like to chat, but mind their own selves also if you prefer to hermit in your room. (Which is a huuuuge perk for me cause since I like lots of privacy) I have been super greatful to stay here and I feel like the staff here is deserving of a shout out and possibly an award for "most accommodating". "I travel to Portland frequently for work and have been systematically trying hotels in downtown Portland. Hotel Heathman is my favorite so far! The building is beautiful & convenient to the office I visit as well as numerous restaurants & shops. My room was comfortable & clean. I was disappointed that I didn’t receive daily housekeeping though— I would expect that from a hotel of this caliber. I typically keep my room neat, & I’m fine using towels for multiple days, but I used the French press for coffee & was unsure how to dispose of the grounds for use the next day. Plus, I ordered room service for breakfast one morning & no one ever picked up the tray. These issues are not deal breakers weighed in the balance of my overall good experience, though. I will stay there again."
